Benchmark Restaurant in Perrysburg

My husband and I went here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The entire staff seemed to know it was our anniversary, and everyone was extremely friendly. I got a filet and my husband got the porterhouse. Both were absolutely incredible. This was the best meal either of us have ever had!

What an amazing dinner! The most flavorful lobster bisque, rich and creamy with huge chunks of lobster. Delicious wedge salad and the prime filet chef selection with the king crab, Korean butter, truffle oil and asparagus... To die for ❤️❤️❤️

Went there for happy hour, definitely going back for dinnerWe had a couple of drinks with bar bites, did not expect it to be this good, the tenderloin slider was out of this world and the sirloin on sourdough bites with the Korean butter! Great quality food as always, steak cooked beautifully, the only oddity was the waiter took the tip off the table while we where still there mid conversation when we where only there for around 5 min after having paid which kind of perturbed me, I took it as a “time to go” nudge even though we came at opening but other then that the food and everything was great and amazing deserts. Will and have always come back for sure.

Great service, great food. I recommend the avacado toast, lobster bisque and bourbon sticky cake.

Lovely bar area. Appetizers were tasty. Would visit again. Large variety of liquors, and mixed drinks. Friendly staff and generally busy. Parking is readily accessed across the road. Large group accommodation should be called in ahead if possible.

Overall experience was good. However l have to wonder why do they bother to ask when making a reservation if it is a special occasion. Told them it was an anniversary but nothing was ever mentioned.

Lots of AMAZING food. HIGHLY recommend. Also, get the fried cauliflower appetizer!

We decided toTry this place tonight. We typically have our “go to” places. This place is close to home and has had good reviews. The foodWas just “ok” nothing I would crave. The appetizers had maybe one choice for a fish allergy person. The sides were average flavor. My steak was not cooked as I ordered, and my server alerted the manager before I ever said anything. Pleasant surprise- good job Brian!! He said with such conviction that the chef cooks these to perfection.. every time. Except this time:( dessert was delicious. It was quite loud in the restaurant that I wasn’t expecting for an “upscale” experience. Prices were comparable to Mancy’s but not quite the quality. Service was excellent- hence the 4Stars.

I can't believe that this place is in Toledo! The steaks, the sides, the wine, the cocktails - it's like you're transported to a New York City steakhouse! Well, except everyone is nicer 😉. The brussel sprouts side is to die for - perfectly caramelized. The medium-rare filet was prepared perfectly - see my pic! Extraordinary steak.

Benchmark is one of my top picks for a yummy steak dinner, as well as for the amazing ambiance. I love the dining room setting, as well as the bar. The service is fantastic! Thanks for being a great addition to northwest Ohio!

I had a wonderful time here! The service was impeccable. A date and I each got an entree and then we shared with one another. We got a crab cake, sea bass, and the 12 ounce filet. Everything was OUTSTANDING. The rolls were mouth watering! The steak was one of the best I've ever tasted! The cocktails came kind of slow but it hardly mattered in the scheme of things. They were also great. I love that the design is so open but it does make it louder. It also makes it feel bustling and vibrant so that was easy to overlook. I just wouldn't go here if I wanted to have intimate conversation during dinner. I had to get a picture of the meal of the gentleman next to me since it looked so delicious!

Amazing! My husband wanted to try something new for date night and I'm so glad we chose Benchmark. We both got the New York strip with roasted potatoes & brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked perfectly and the steak was one of the best I've ever had!! Our server was great, very friendly and attentive.

Food is absolutely beautiful and fantastic, service is excellent. The servers are so quick to attend to you, they take care of you before you even think to ask for anything.The atmosphere is great. You definitely get what you pay for here. This is in the top 3 nicest restaurants in the Toledo Area in my opinion.The food pictured is the Elk Chops and the Lemon Tart.

Laughed because one of the appetizers was maple bacon, for $12. I think it was the entire pig. I apologise for laughing. Waiter was fantastic. Their sides are big enough for 2. We each ordered steak. Mine was perfectly medium well. So moist and juicy. Hubby got his "blue" a recommendation of the waiter, if you like medium rare. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

Had a wonderful anniversary meal. Kobe steak for myself ( they also have Wagyu, tough choice) and Vegan Steak for my wife. My wife is vegan and had no issues ordering and our waiter even offered adjustments to accommodate her if needed. Service was outstanding, timing was perfect, very well taken care of. We certainly will be back.

The steaks were amazing and the chessy maple grits were out of this world!

We have had mostly good experiences here, the 2nd picture is Hawaiian swordfish that was flawless, no room for improvement. The 1st was a waygu, of the highest rating A5, a $100 steak for 5 oz. The coarse salt that came on top was an unfortunate consequence. We tried to savor it slowly before realizing the over-salting had already happened. We left disappointed we had not said something sooner, realizing this could have very well been the best steak we had ever had, but the outcome had already been decided in the kitchen.

This was the best birthday experience ever! The staff was great and very knowledgeable. Plus the food was fresh and delicious.

We came here to celebrate my fiance's birthday. Great service. Our waitress,Karla, was super nice and knowledgeable about everything I asked about on menu. Loved her suggestions. Had a slight issue with my steak but it was quickly rectified by the manager? I didn't get his name but he was extremely attentive and made sure everything was perfect when the other one came out. Our waitress was also very attentive to the matter. We will return for sure on our next get away to Belamere suites. Thank you again for an awesome dinner!

I’m not gonna lie, I thought the prices were high at first. But it is worth every penny. I got the bacon with maple syrup and it was great. Everything is home made. This is a great restaurant and definitely recommend it and will come again.

First time at Benchmark, we drove 2 hrs to just get away for the weekend and we came here for dinner. I got the chicken dinner with Brussel sprouts and grits. My husband got the 10oz steak and baked potato. Let me tell you the food was amazing, everything had tons of flavor and steak was tender. We were blown away at how good everything was. We like to try all different kinds of places and by far this has been the BEST!!!! You must try this place!!!!

Visited Benchmark and was well accommodated with reservation which I highly suggest. The prices are in the high side but I assume most know that going in. Very enjoyable experience. Upper scale steakhouse with a very decent wine and drink selection. Great meal and ambiance. Dessert was a let down but still not too shabby at all. I'd repeat.

I recently (like yesterday lol) had a really large birthday party at benchmark. I asked for a table for 20 and ended up with a party of 26!!! The staff didn’t flinch they served us amazingly, drink never ran low, they literally poured our water before the cup was even half full!!! Where one waiter may have been busy another jumped in with no issue. The chef came out and spoke to our table, the drinks were wonderful, the food was spectacular. No one left food on the plate. The management was superb. The atmosphere delightful and classy. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back for the sea bass alone!! Brussel Sprouts were mouth watering and as a woman who does not eat grits, I cleared the plate. I’m totally in love with with this place and if your looking for a place to have a GREAT meal, with GREAT staff and GREAT service. Look no more!!! You found it here. Fantastic steak. I got to try a handful of sides and appetizers with a big group and really enjoyed the feta cheese dip, fingerling potatoes, and cauliflower side. The espresso icecream dessert is great as well! Great service. High-end dining. Very satisfied!

Exceptional culinary delights, over the top service. A bit pricey, but worth it for special occasions

Definitely one of the best steak places I've been. Price is high but so is the flavor. If you want to take someone out for a very nice meal I'd recommend getting one of their mixed drinks and a delicious steak. The sides are big enough to share so get a couple and split them (go for the Brussel sprouts they're to die for).

This was easily the best restaurant experience I've ever had.. My appetizer was the avocado toast which was pretty good.. I then ate the gumbo which was the best gumbo I've ever had.. It had a nice little spice to it which was perfect.. My entree was the ribeye, chef's way, and I've got to stay it was by far the best steak I've ever ate.. It was juicy and the taste was seasoned and a little buttery which was perfect.. For dessert i ate the bourbon cake.. Im not a dessert kind of guy but it was still pretty good and free because of my birthday.. Thank you Benchmark.. I love you Becca.. And thank you Brian for the perfect service..

Visited this restaurant with a group of clients, had a great experience. Food and service were great. Parking is challenging but worth it.

The first night out after covid-19, our restaurants and ohio released slowly..what an awesome atmosphere and dinner and drinks...thank you benchmark for making the night magical

The best Restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. From the salad to the steak was incredible. The Brussel sprouts outstanding. Great service!
